The LS-9000 ED sets new standards in multi-format, multi-purpose, professional film scanning, with 4000dpi optical resolution, 16-bit analog-to-digital conversion and the ability to handle a broad range of film formats from 35mm to 120/220, 16mm, 6 x 7cm, 6 x 9cm, electron microscopes and more. Multi-sample scan ning engages as many as 16 passes and a newly developed high-quality 3-line CCD sensor arrangement contributes to fast scan times. Scanner Nikkor ED (Extra-low Dispersion) glass lens elements offer superior edge-to-edge sharpness, definition and contrast, and superb colour fidelity. The Nikon Colour Management System (Nikon CMS), the Digital ICE4 Advanced suite of correction tools and the one-touch simple Scan Image Enhancer are also on board. IEEE 1394 interface.
