The CanoScan 9950F features a built-in film adaptor unit that can scan up to 30 frames of 35mm filmstrip, 12 x 35mm slides, medium and up to 5""x4"" large format film. This is ideal for design studios and photographers who require batch film scanning. With multi-scan mode the 9950F automatically detects each frame, then scans them all at once and saves each image as a separate file, making scanning quick and easy/super convenient. The 9950F offers 4800x9600 dpi optical resolution with 48-bit colour depth coupled with a new Super Toric lens with aspherical elements, which produces film scans with razor-sharp detail. A dual USB 2.0 Hi-Speed/FireWire interface enables the fast transfer of huge amounts of data needed for high-resolution images, while the Film Automatic Retouching and Enhancement (FARE level 3) technology ensures clean
