The Canon MV920 features true high-resolution widescreen video recording, a powerful 25x zoom magnification, proprietary Canon DiG!C DV imaging processor and genuine Canon video lens. The MV920 features an enlarged 2.7"" extra bright LCD. Video footage can be viewed easily in widescreen 16:9 format on the LCD, ensuring users get the right composition. Users can also enjoy the flexibility of recording in either 4:3 or 16:9 widescreen format simply at the press of a button. Controls have been modified and improved with the addition of a joystick that allows full control of basic functions like Play, Stop, Forward and Rewind. Image quality is further assured with electronic image stabiliser for effectively minimising camera shake during handheld recording. The MV920 features 8 special scene modes, including Spotlight, Snow, Beach, Sunset, Fireworks, Sports, Night and Portrait and also incorporate a slide-in lens cover. The MV920 is small and light - weighing only 380gm.
